Lauren was first introduced to the holistic health space while managing a sensory deprivation float spa throughout her bachelor’s degree. In that role, she gained early experience in leadership, client care, and wellness, while developing a deep appreciation for how holistic practices can positively influence both mental and physical health. Towards the end of her undergraduate studies, Lauren transitioned into education as a math intervention teacher, where she worked closely with students in small-group and one-on-one settings to strengthen foundational skills, build confidence, and support their academic success. After earning her bachelor’s degree in education, Lauren felt a strong calling to focus more deeply on mental health. In 2022, she joined Better U, where she has combined her background in education, holistic wellness, and leadership with her passion for helping people improve their quality of life. She is currently pursuing a graduate degree in a psychology-related field, expanding her expertise in human development, behavior, and emotional well-being. Her diverse professional path has given her a well-rounded perspective and the ability to connect with people from many different walks of life. Beyond her professional and academic pursuits, Lauren values balance and personal growth. She enjoys traveling and exploring new places with her husband, lounging with her cat, reading, sewing, digital art, and cooking. She is an avid collector of rocks and minerals, as well as LEGO sets, with a special interest in the Architecture sets.
