Amy Wiseman

Hi my name is Dr. Amy Wiseman and I'mto help you integrate your ketamine experiences! I'm a licensed clinical psychologist and have owned and run my small group private practice since 2018. I am licensed in the states of California and Washington. I love working with all kinds of people dealing with different challenges but I specialize in complex trauma, dissociative disorders, and anxiety disorders like OCD and panic disorder. I also have specific training and a passion for working with the queer, kinky and Polya folks!

I always curtail my approach in psychotherapy to meet the needs of the person I am working with. Therapy is for and about you, you are the expert on you, and my job is to guide our work to get you to where you want to go. I use several modalities to approach our work together. At my base I see people through a Gestalt lens: I will bring things back to how they are showing up in the now, ask for your feedback on our work, and have you treat all interventions as experiments so we can toss out what doesn't work for you. I also use a parts-work approach so we can serve every part of you that needs support and attention. Finally, to process on a nervous system level I utilize EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy) to help you disentangle present-day triggers from nervous system responses.

I take Aetna insurance in the state of CA. I also offer sliding scale in my practice if there is availability to do so on my calendar but my base fee is $250 per 50 minute session. I can also provide superbills to those who have PPO insurance.
